** UPDATE 2/28/25 - Changed by review to 5 stars! I sent my boots in, and after only a turnaround of 3 business days, they were shipped back to me. Once I got 'em, did some new boot goofin' around town, and they no longer squeak! Thank you for the great service! ** I bought a pair of Bowie stock boots from Republic boots late last year. I desperately want to love these things. They are comfortable, have quality, all leather construction, and look amazing. But the darn things squeak uncontrollably. I’ve read the FAQ and talked to customer support about soaking them in water, which I’ve done 3 separate times, but the crazy squeaking returns after 3-4 days. I think it’s the layers of leather in the soles that slightly rub together that causes the problem, but I’m no boot expert. I was also told to walk in them more to get rid of the squeak, and I try. I walk around my downtown sounding like Sponge Bob. I can’t sneak up on anyone. Embarrassing to say the least, haha. I’m going to keep wearing them and walking in them, and I’ll update my review if/when the squeak stops and my sanity returns.

Stopped by here when I was in town. My daughter had a great desire for new real boots. Received very good help from pleasant service. They fit perfectly! I recommend a visit here if you are considering new, proper boots!

I had an amazing experience at Republic Boot Co getting a pair of custom boots made! I worked with Davin, who is an incredibly skilled designer and made the entire process so easy. I walked in feeling pretty intimidated since I had no idea what I was doing, I only have a couple of pairs of boots and have definitely never designed a pair. But the entire team was so friendly and welcoming, and Davin was friendly, patient, attentive, and really took the time to help me create something I'm excited about. They have so many options and examples to look at, which made it much easier to visualize my design. Beyond the custom boots, the store itself is amazing! I noticed they also do custom hats, have a bar in-store, and have lots of western jewelry and knick-knacks. The whole environment made me feel so welcome, and I loved looking around. If you're looking for custom boots, this is definitely the place to go. I can't wait to get mine and will absolutely be back for another pair!

Great experience. Ian is fantastic. He was a pleasure to work with and he knows the product well. The product quality is top shelf that I would put up against other quality known bookmakers. Alexa in the hat bar did a great job customizing my wife’s hat. We will be going back for more.

My fiancé took me to Republic Boot Co to get me a pair of boots as a Valentine’s Day gift. We met Madison and she was amazing. She explained how the custom boot process worked and led us through all the options. This is the first pair of custom boots I’ve ever had and Madison made sure that we saw all the different hides and explained the pros and cons of each one. She patiently answered all of our questions and even stayed past closing to make sure we left knowing that we made the perfect choice for me. We’ll definitely be back!

I had a great experience with Laura after I had to do a return of my Artemis boots. She was more than helpful and the new size was spot on when I received the new ones. She even sent me a new boot jack when I received them which was a total surprise. Wonderful people and business to work with.

AMAZING. From the outside, you wouldn’t believe what the inside is like. You’re transformed to a country western environment. I used to work at a country western store - and it takes a special person to that - for a living, not just a J.O.B. If you’re going to get a custom made pair of boots - be prepared to spend at least an hour - maybe several. And, it’s a good idea to- for staff and yourself - if possible, to make an appointment. And, if that’s not in the market for you right now, then there is so much country western paraphernalia crammed inside - it will take you an hour or more to truly look at everything. Make sure to visit the hat area. I had no idea what all can be done with cowboy hats. I do think you can drop a pretty penny in here - but if you have to ask, you can’t afford it. This is a must visit for any time of year, and especially at rodeo time. The only thing is not a lot of parking. A couple of spaces out back and some on street parking.

Republic Boot Co Crockett boots offer a lot of value for the price. These are my first boots that are not a roper style and they’re very classic-looking. Great color. Well made. Fit true to size. Very comfortable right out of the box. Would highly recommend. Unique and cool-looking store with employees that make you feel welcome and are knowledgeable. Oh, and they always offer you a drink.

Wonderful service, top quality products and the ability to custom fit, personalize or design items is a one-of-a-kind opportunity. In particular, I purchased a traditional hat, had it shaped and then had it customized at the Hat Bar, run by Alexa (aka BunnyDoll Designs). My hat is gorgeous and the custom additions by Alexa are absolutely perfect!

Most people leave a review after their 1st experience. I have now purchased over 5 pair of amazing custom boots. Republics Custom boots experience only gets better with every order! Can’t wait to buy more
