A few weeks back, I went in for a boot fitting for my first pair of custom boots. When you’re a hardworking person that completely understands the commitment and sacrifice you and your family endure to make a living, spending a couple thousand dollars on a pair of boots isn’t spontaneous event. Without getting too long winded, the process was very pleasant. Big Jonny Falstaff was my tour guide on this endeavor. It was such a pleasant experience, I’m already plotting my next fitting. I had a great time at Republic Boot Company trying on boots and seeing all the different colors and styles available in their in stock line. The staff was great and took the time to explain how the boot should feel so I would get the best fit. Bought a pair of the Texians 2.5 years ago and they have held up very well. They have changed the shape of the boot since, to a less formal, more standard round toe design. I really like my older design that has a more dress boot shape and brought them in to be cleaned, shined, and conditioned. Republic Boots did a great job and I’m very happy with the outcome; they look almost better than new. Thanks guys!

A very unique place I bought some boots got home and found something wrong with one boot brought it back and they fixed it. If you have time to wait for a pair they also do custom boots. This is one place that stands behind their boots they sell. I highly recommend this place also they did a great job putting new heal caps on my boots

Was gifted a pair of the handmade Austin Snake Proof Boots. While there we also purchased one of the oil tanned premium leather journals. Everyone there is so helpful and friendly!! Stopped by the other day just to pick up a couple of Devil Dog Jeans and then Madison saw us. Welllll I have one pair of 1836 now I have 2. If you're ordering boots from this place you will never get the experience of this small shop. I would recommend going there. They are the absolute best shop you will ever experience. Now thinking about a belt and see if they can make me a custom badge carrier for work.

The experience we had at Republic Boot Co. was truly remarkable, thanks to the talented crew. From the moment we entered, we were given a warm reception and treated like old friends. I have been holding onto a gator skin I harvested 10 years ago and decided it was time to get my dream boots made. Johnny was the man to help put the plan in motion and helped design my “one of a kind” boots that I CANNOT wait to see! We were lucky enough to partake in the live music and a few cold ones too. Fit better than ever!!

I have extremely wide feet, and Republic bent over backwards to make sure these boots were re-soled perfectly, actually I would say better than they were new, and I can still wear them. Many times a re-sole on an extra wide shoe/boot narrows it, but not in this case!!

Quality Boot repairs

I'm going to start off as saying that Republic Boot Co boots are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever worked in and worn.

I ordered a pair back in 2023, and there were the traditional style of a leather sole. I'm in law enforcement, and my agency allows me to were cowboy boots. I wore hole in the bottoms of them. I investigated over 200 collisions, made 800+ traffic stops, and well over 400 hours of overtime. (I'll add the photos of the soles).

I bought the resole in November. I added in the description that I would like a thicker outsole if possible, as I wanted to get more of the boots. Republic Boot Co called me to inquire and they decided to do a 'vibrim' outsole, which is a all rubber sole.

They came in last week and very pleased and excited to wear them again. They are still just as comfortable and feel like a new pair of boots. I have worked several shift in them and my feet haven't gotten tired. Out of all the boots I have ever worked, these are the best.
