A very unique place I bought some boots got home and found something wrong with one boot brought it back and they fixed it. If you have time to wait for a pair they also do custom boots. This is one place that stands behind their boots they sell. I highly recommend this place also they did a great job putting new heal caps on my boots

Was gifted a pair of the handmade Austin Snake Proof Boots. While there we also purchased one of the oil tanned premium leather journals. Everyone there is so helpful and friendly!! Once home and browsing the website, I recently ordered a bundle of boot care products that were shipped and received in a two day time period. A boot bag, boot jack, leather cream and a pair of cedar boot trees. Will be ordering a pair of custom boots soon!!! Thank you Republic!!

Stopped by the other day just to pick up a couple of Devil Dog Jeans and then Madison saw us. Welllll I have one pair of 1836 now I have 2. If you're ordering boots from this place you will never get the experience of this small shop. I would recommend going there. They are the absolute best shop you will ever experience. Now thinking about a belt and see if they can make me a custom badge carrier for work.

Jake was fantastic. Patient service, unbelievably cool boots, and fantastic whiskey! Bringing my son back for a pair! Update March 21, 2025 Picked up my boots yesterday and came out so much better than I expected! Store and staff all warm and inviting. Live music, fantastic drinks, friendly conversation. Boots fit perfect, color exactly what I hoped for. Could not be happier!

The experience we had at Republic Boot Co. was truly remarkable, thanks to the talented crew. From the moment we entered, we were given a warm reception and treated like old friends. I have been holding onto a gator skin I harvested 10 years ago and decided it was time to get my dream boots made. Johnny was the man to help put the plan in motion and helped design my “one of a kind” boots that I CANNOT wait to see! We were lucky enough to partake in the live music and a few cold ones too. You really need to stop and meet the crew at Republic Boot Company if you’re ever in Houston! We made the trip from ND (on our anniversary) and it was beyond an epic experience.

Very cool experience picking out custom boots with them. The whole place has a positive vibe and employees that actually seem happy and proud of where they work. We were immediately greeted by two employees asking how they could help us. Haley was thorough and patient when walking me through the custom boot process. I went later In the day and the store actually closed before we were done with all the choices but we didn’t even realize it because nobody was rushing people out. They stayed until the last customer was handled. I can’t recommend this company enough. Huge thanks to Haley and the whole team. I can’t wait to see how the boots turn out!

I will preface that I have not yet bought anything here however I have been wanting to stop in here since I started traveling to Houston for work and I was able to stop in for a few minutes between engagements last week (first week or rodeo 2025). The shop is really cool and the staff was very helpful. I only had time to try on one pair of boots...I tried on the Crocketts in my normal size 13 with and without the insole, boots were a little to snug on the ball of my feet and my instep. Did not have time try on a bigger pair, but hopefully next time I am down there! The layout of the shop was really nice and lots of cool leather gear (coasters, journals and all sorts of stuff). Looking forward to actually getting something from them in the near future.

It was a great experience! Got great guidance from the beginning and did not feel we were rushed into anything. Super happy with the final result! All staff are amazing!
